Alan's three sections are all PL OK ..... 45,70 and 94
Alan, I loved your version of Father O'Flynn .... you are so good with those ... I wish the book had a bunch more that you could sing to! :9:
Glad you enjoyed Father O'Flynn and thanks for the complement. Watch out for the Wind that Shakes the Barley which is a traditional Irish folk song and featured in a recent movie of the same name.

Can I add sections 7 and 30 to my list. I have taken a liking to Aubrey de Vere

Section 8 - The Wind that Shakes the Barley

If you don't like this sung version I will re-do it as a spoken recitation
The tune is my own improvisation on the traditional Irish tune used for these words. That tune is very, very slow and I did not think it really suitable for this recording. This one is a bit quicker.

Section 59 'They're Only Weans' done here, 59.85s:

As a sidenote, if there's anyone who's actually from Ireland who wants to record over this, feel free. This poem doesn't work without a Gaelic accent.

Between illnesses, work, and vacation, May wasn't my best Librivox month. But I'm back and ready to do some more recording, editing, and PLing!
