Navin,
Thank you, please record the line. I will put a comment in the notes column for Jack.

Alan,
In Chapter 4 there is a line for the District Attorney that was not colored on the google document (where is looks like a narrator line).
Please read this missing line - “Do you belong to an organization known as the Molly Maguires?”
I will work on chapter 5 soon.

I will add the missing line, but I noticed just after this the following line:
"The district attorney looked at the witness sharply for a moment, then consulted with Attorney Summons, who sat by his side as private counsel for the prosecution"
This suggest that Summons and the DA are different people, but I have read the lines of both. Just thought I should mention it.

Alan,
Good point.
I am not sure why the lines were colored that way. I don’t think it takes anything away from the story.
In my initial fast perusal of this project I thought they were the same person. From the listener side it is tough to it could be tough to tell the difference between the two as they are both lawyers from the District Attorney’s office questioning witnesses.

Alan,
I listened to chapter 5, your recording of the colored lines in PL OK.
However, I found another problem in the coloring of roles concerning the Prosecution. Could you please read as well (one file for all your extra lines is okay).
Then Summons, the private counsel for the prosecution, took the witness. “Tom,” he said, “did you tell the truth in your direct examination?”
“I did, sir,” replied Tom, “but not the whole truth.”
“Well, then, suppose you tell the rest of it.”

Adam,
While editing the draft for Chapter 5, I came across another line coloring error. The lines below belong to Lawyer Pleadwell (defending Jack), but were not colored that way.
“Then if your Honors please, we object to the witness answering this question. This is a desperate theatrical trick, concocted by the prosecution to prejudice this defendant. We ask that they be not allowed to support it with illegal evidence.”
“I object,” interposed Pleadwell, “to allowing this witness to ramble over the field of legal and illegal evidence at will. If counsel has questions to ask, let him ask them.”

Could you please record this line, it was not in chapter 5 of the google document
“it won’t pay; Jack won’t try to get away from us, will you, Jack?”

Sky,
Thank you for the readovers.
I found another line in chapter 5
The sonorous voice of the court-crier, adjourning the courts until the following morning, echoed through the now half-emptied room, and the sheriff said to Rennie,—
