I really like the plot and would be excited to try this out. The timeline of two months should be enough.
I have done chapters on poetry and prose before, and this is the next step.

Welcome to the project!
I have assigned section 1 to you. It is a very long one, at 7000 words it could come close to an hour as the finished recording - so it is not an easy task, but definitely doable. And of course very good experience of recording a chapter in several sittings etc. Have fun with it and please don't hesitate to ask if you run into some difficulty.
Thank you so much, I am proud to say I have already recorded the whole chapter, and will now edit away the stumbles and add the intro and outro and amplify the volume. It is 49 minutes long. I had so much energy today I had to prepare the chapter immediately. Now I will eat lunch.

This is a very long chapter, so it might be rather hard as first reading.

Glad to hear that! And looking forward to hear your recording.
I no longer think I can edit and produce the first chapter. I am very disappointed at myself and have been hesitating to write here, because maybe I could make myself do this chapter, but the corona virus has turned everything upside down and I find it hard to focus on going to Librivox when I would get interrupted every time I try to work on the chapter because there is always someone telling me to do something, because at the moment I am not living alone and it is different, and I feel that I have to give up.Please give someone else chapter 1.
