Thanks so much Larry that's nice to know. The editing I do is firstly to check the text but then I remove duplicated text where I have made errors while recording and removing long pauses or some odd mouth clicks which show up as dots on Audacity.

Forgot to update, but Chapter 10 is PL OK.
All is well here, although we did have snow yesterday.
We are weeks into spring and the flowering trees are blooming and the frogs are out, but in New England we can get these freak storms. And, we are safe here in our rural location.
All the best,

Hi Larry,
I'm back! I've been sooooooooooooooooo busy at work, utterly insane (worked the WHOLE of last weekend). Phew!
Hope all is well your side. We are still in lockdown (level 4) , day 57 I think, but I have been able to work as in the category essential services, but had to take a salary cut in April and May. A lot of industries are still in lockdown, so it's quite tough for many people, including my son (who lives in another city, Cape Town), as he will not receive a salary at all this month. We hope and pray that the situation improves, and that we will move to level 3 from 1 June, which will free up some more industries and everyone can get back to work. Our economy has taken a huge knock. They deployed the military to ensure the curfew hours of no one out from 8 pm to 5 am. Exercise outdoors is restricted to the hours between 6 am and 9 am. The sale of alcohol and cigarettes has been forbidden since day 1 of lockdown on 26 March. We could not even buy clothing in any shape or form whilst on level 5 which lasted until the end of April. Someone said that level 4 is just level 5 in running shorts LOL.
Anyhow, section 11 is uploaded for checking please.

Well, so good to hear from you, and to give you a PL OK on another fine chapter, French included. Although I spent four years in Haiti, where French is the official language, we were dumped in with NO language training, a had just a little instruction in Haitian Creole which we got by with. I can also get by in Spanish and Korean, but my Japanese evaporated.
We are just beginning to open up our shut down, but we didn't have anything like a curfew. Fortunately, my job has been secure. I was already working at home 3 days a week so the transition for me wasn't so bad, and I don't miss the long commute that I had. I am a customer service rep for a book company, so it is on the phone all day. We had to shut down our shipping center down for six weeks, so it got real slow. But, we opened this week for shipping with 200,000 orders waiting to go out! And, the phones have been busier than Christmas.
My daughter has been able to maintain her job working remotely, and my wife is doing some part time sessions remotely, so that has also been a blessing, and she is carrying the load of the remote schooling for our two grandchildren. A year ago, we all went together to by a house on six acres of wooded land here in rural New Hampshire, so we are blessed to have room to be outside and isolated. We make very careful forays to buy food or go to the pharmacy. My older daughter and her husband have also been able to maintain their jobs mostly remotely with occasional office visits for short periods, but they are in California, the other coast, and I think we may have to cancel our plans to visit them in July.
How we'll come out of this on the other side remains to be seen. But, I think it is clear, our world will never be quite the same.
Oh, send my a PM (private message) with your email address, and I'll send you those pictures of flowering trees. I'll send you a PM you can just reply to.
