Thank you Raghu, good reading, but could you please add a few seconds to the ending silence and upload the file (same filename)
Please leave 5 seconds of silence at the end of your recording.

Welcome to LibriVox Gyan, good first reading. :D
There are a couple of technical issues to sort out...
- the file is in stereo, we need a mono file
- the volume is too low at 70.6 dB, you should aim for your waveforms to peak near the 0.5 mark, like this:
Image
- please include the file duration with your upload link

You can check your volume using our Checker program - see info at http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker You will find the volume in decibels on the Information tab. For your information, we look for around 89 dB (87-91 is OK)

*Please let me know under what name would you like to appear in the LV catalog and if you have one, we can put your personal URL link on your catalog page too.
You can view your brand new LV Catalog page by clicking your forum name in the Magic Window.

Thank you! Apologies about the formatting. Something must have gone wrong when I converted the original .wav file. I've since figured out how to get Audacity to work on Catalina (at least temporarily) and was able to fix some other things as well. Until I get my new microphone, however, noise reduction will continue to be a pain.

I'd like to appear under the name "Gyan Moorthy" in the LV Catalog please :)

Here's the updated version, 50 seconds in duration: https://librivox.org/uploads/aradlaw/pansies_riley_gm_128kb.mp3.

Cheers,
Gyan

P.S. Thanks for pointing me to the Checker program. Was immensely helpful!
