Many thanks, Piotr, for this look at the famous Polish salt mines, mined since the 13th century per Wikipedia, and-designated UNESO World Heritage site and a Polish Historic Monument!

Philosopher of the Heart: The Restless Life of Soren Kierkegaard

Clare Carlisle has written a few books about Kierkegaard or his works.

Hi Weezer, Welcome to LibriVox and to the Short Nonfiction Collection!

It sounds as if you have some essays in mind to read for the SNF. The Essays of Elia look to be all available on Guntenberg: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/author/293. I'm not sure which essay you have in mind to read (Lamb wrote a good many!), so if you would please post the source and the essay you're thinking about reading, I can make sure that it is in the Public Domain before you begin.

With regards to Washington Irving, the Sketchbook is also available on Gutenberg: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/2048. It would be a good idea, again, to post here a link to the specific Irving essay you want to read from this source, as I see (from Wikipedia), that the Sketchbook of Geoffrey Crayon contains a mix of essays and short stories. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sketch_Book_of_Geoffrey_Crayon,_Gent. Only the essays would be suitable for the SNF. LibriVox has a separate collection for short fiction.

Once you've settled on what you want to read, you will want to follow the instructions for submitting your essay to the SNF, which you'll find at the beginning of this thread. You'll also want to use the LibriVox "Checker" app to check the "vitals" of your recording before submitting it to the SNF: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker.
