Hi Availle,

I'd like to record Section 18, The Story of Domesticated Animals, Part 1, is it available?
I'm new to Librivox, so picked a subject that looks interesting.
See link below for my test recording.

Hi there and welcome to LV and to this project!

I see that you're well underway with your test (sorry, I can't check it myself) so I'll sign you up for section 18.
However, I'll need your catalog name, that can be your forum name, your real name, another pseudonym... If you're planning on saying a name in the recording ("read by ...") then it's wise to choose that name as your catalog name so that your fans can find you in our catalog.
We can also link to a website if you like.

Anyway, please wait for your test [OK] before you're starting here for real.

And: have fun on here! :D
Cheers, Ava.

Howdy! I'm kind of new here. Would it be possible for me to take Section 5? My name for the Catalog is 'Quinton Jasper'

I have uploaded section 23.

I did not read the (extensive) Bibiolography and Index at the end. I hope that is correct.

Hi Availle,

Sorry for late reply, the catalog name I would like to use is thebluebonez.
One of the listener users approved my test script, should I start now?

Thank you for your recording - MW updated!
Yes, we don't need the Bibliography/Index. Waay to uninteresting.

Hi there and welcome to LV and to this project! :D
Before I sign you up for this healthy section, please do your one-minute test. It's not so much a test for you than for your equipment, so we can be sure everything works perfectly (or at least: good enough for us). Do your test and post it over in "Listeners and Editors Wanted". Your welcome mail has more info about it.
Cheers, Ava.

Are you following me around somehow?

Same things as I posted in the Fossil Hunter's thread: viewtopic.php?p=1712567#p1712567
Please do your test, think about a forum name and get back to me.

Have fun on here! :D

Great reading, TCJ!
Just a little too quiet. We should add some 4 dB, but you may have to compress the recording with Audacity first.

Ava, I tried to find some help re. compression for TCJ, but the search in our wiki is not working, would you please alert support people? Thank you!
