Sections 13, 44, 48, 73, and 91 are PL OK.
Section 49 PL notes:
Have you heard of Checker? You can download the program to check technical specifications against LibriVox standards - https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker. There is a technical issue with Section 49 - the volume is high at 92.8 dB. We aim for about 89 dB, with an acceptable range of 87-91 dB. Please de-amplify your file by -3.5. To de-amplify in Audacity, select the whole recording. Click Effect > Amplify. In the Amplification box, enter the number -3.5 and hit OK. Verify that the file is around 89 dB using Checker, then re-upload using the same file name. Post the link and the new duration in this thread. Let me know if you have any questions.

Reupload of 49 with volume fixed. Thank you for telling me about checker and how to adjust, it was super easy to fix using your notes.cadastra wrote: ↑April 27th, 2020, 7:10 pm Sections 13, 44, 48, 73, and 91 are PL OK.

Beautiful reading, Liza - and welcome to LibriVox. I have a few proof-listening notes for you.
Have you heard of Checker? You can download the program to check technical specifications against LibriVox standards - https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker. The volume of Section 12 is low at 86.8 dB, and we aim for about 89 dB, with an acceptable range of 87-91 dB. (Ensuring that there is a standard volume between files is especially important in group projects - can you imagine if a 86 dB file was right next to a 92 dB file? ) Please amplify your file by +2. To amplify in Audacity, select the whole recording. Click Effect > Amplify. In the Amplification box, enter the number 2 and hit OK. Also, 5 seconds of silence need to be added to the end of the recording.
Amplify by +2 dB and add 5 seconds of silence to the end of the file, then re-upload using the same file name. Post the link and the new duration in this thread. Let me know if you have any questions.
