This would be my first recording, I would like to be listed as "Jonathan Chausse"

I have my 1 minute test posted, I will wait to start recording sections until that is sorted.

Exited to begin!
Hey Jonathan,
Oh! Thought I'd give you a quick summary of how to submit the recording here. Try to follow the steps in the first post exactly.
In the beginning of the recording say "Chapter 13 part 1 of The Three Hostages. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"..... And at the end say "End of Chapter 13 part 1. You can split the chapter anywhere that feels comfortable to you and when you do the second one say "chapter 18 part 2.
For the file name do threehostages_13_buchan_128kb and for 14 do threehostages_14_buchan_128kb.

Make sure it's "constant bit rate at 128 and mono" as your specs. They should help you with this on your 1 minute recording too.
When you go to upload it - make sure the MC is Annise. And then post it here with the length in mm:ss....

Let me know if you have any trouble or questions. Doing your first recording can be daunting!

Hi there,

Are we expected to attempt accents? I'm happy to try but I'm not sure how accurate my Norwegian accent is :?

Also it's trivial but I'm not sure what the catalogue is, so when I say who it was read by do I say my username or the catalogue name?

Sorry for thickness!

Lol!!!!!! Don’t worry about accents! I never do- cus I cant keep a stable accent. I’ll start off with a English accent and then end up in a Spanish one! It’s so ridiculous! Lol

Read by your name. I do Kimberly Shoemaker. But you could do KT or whatever. Also recheck the first post because I just took out the intro that says your name- unless you add it in with the second optional part which is ok too!

Hey Tiff, I'm uploading chapter 4- but I think there's 2 spots around 35-40 minutes in that I'll need to spot re-record due to some background noise caused by my cat :P

I hope these are good enough!

Please feel free to give any edit suggestions, I would prefer my recordings to be on par with everyone else's.
