I would like the orphaned section 21 if I may?

Constructive criticism is always welcome. Do I need to slow down? How's my enunciation? Did I stumble, or pause too long? Please let me know!

Here is section 4: "The Guerezas and Guenons, The Macaques, The Baboons"

https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/livinganimals1_04_cornish_128kb.mp3

Duration: (18:27)
PL notes:
Your reading is great! And the rest is very nearly all in line.
•Beginning silence is a little over 1 second (should be "no more than 0.5 - 1 second")
•Volume is within range at 91.9 dB, but barely. Could you lower it by about 3 dB to bring it close to our 89 dB target?

Thanks,
~Rosebud

dvandervis wrote: April 19th, 2020, 8:25 pm And section 34 for you!

https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/livinganimals1_34_cornish_128kb.mp3

Length: 16:27
PL notes:
Beginning silence is around 1.5 seconds. Could you please shorten it to "no more than 0.5 - 1 second"?

Otherwise everything sounds just fine! :)

Thanks,

PL OK :D

Bet you've never tried it. But seriously, some of his info seems quite outrageous. I've never heard of such mass slaughtering of deer done simply for the sport of killing, or of feeding hogs on them, much less all winter!!

I have had venison - tenderloin at a fancy French restaurant in NYC, marinated BBQed kebabs at my cousin's in rural upstate New York (her husband is a bow hunter). It is pretty tasty... 😁 But I don't approve of mass killing for sport or for hogs either!

Using the name Anthony Viola - thanks !
Hello, and thanks for claiming. Section 46 had been claimed a few hours before your claim, but I assigned you the other two. :D
Thank you Leni. I'm looking forward to it. I submitted my 1 minute test a few days ago. I'm told it went well with some advice on noise reduction and I was on the low end (but within range) of the decibels.
Thanks again.

Hi, I can ready section 37 (Rhinoceros) if that's still open. If that section has been taken I am also down to read any other sections available.

I even re-recorded a few sentences before submitting here because I heard some background noises. (The Living Animals of my World were scratching themselves in the "studio"...) I made the second round of sentences sound as close to the first as I know how to. Let me know if anything is off!
