Hi! I'm the MC (meta coordinator) for this project. I set it up, catalog it, and give very general direction when needed. Larry (silverquill) is the Book Coordinator, or "the boss" on this particular project.
I recorded it while still waiting for a thumbs-up for my 1-min test. Hope it's okay! :)
Usually, no, because any tech problems with your test will carry over into a regular recording.

I notice you posted your test in the introductions forum. No one saw it there (I guess we're not very good at keeping up with the introduction posts.) I ran it through Checker quick and noticed some big tech problems, but on the recording here they've been fixed. So your test is pretty much obsolete at this point. ;)

The only tech issue on this recording is the volume. It needs to come up about 5 dB.

Larry (or the DPL, whoever it is) - go ahead and enter and PL the recording, noting the volume. The rest of the tech settings are OK. :)

I recorded it while still waiting for a thumbs-up for my 1-min test. Hope it's okay! :hmm:

If my recording is accepted, I'd like my full name (Abdullah Seddiqy) appear in the LV catalog.

Thanks :D

AbSed
Ha! I guess Tricia and I were checking this out at the same time.
So, all of what she said!

I've added you to the catalog, so just click on your name in the MagicWindow to see your personal page where you can track all of your LV work. (I hope there will be a lot).

I've put your recording up for PL. Our volunteer for this has had top step down, so I or someone else will give you a full report, including the volume issue. so wait for that in case there are other corrections to make.

WELCOME TO LIBRIVOX!

Apologies for the long delay. I had the start of a cold the first time and it sounded awful!

That's fine. Always a bummer when one wants to record.
Anyway, I've put this in the MW Ready for PL, but you forgot to give us the file length. mm:ss

Thank you for your contribution!

Great!
And I'll take the bit part which will fill out this little piece.
Thank you.

Here is my corrected file and I am extremely apologetic for not getting this taken care of sooner.

I will save this section for you.
Just let me know how you would like to be listed in the LibriVox catalog - real name, pseudonym or other nickname. This is how you will be credited for you LV work and allow me to assign this section to you.

Thanks for joining the project!
