To clarify our silences:

We stipulate the max 1 second in the beginning so that listeners don't wonder "is my device on" in case nothing's happening. The approx. 5 seconds in the end is to give a bit of a breather between sections.

However, this is a solo, and if this is the only thing that's wrong with the section, I would say don't bother adjusting the silences. I also quickly listened to a few of the sections (without downloading) and it seems to me that the background noise is acceptable, so no need to do anything there either.

Just the PLing please. Let's get this finished asap!

In general, I want to point out that fixing a file is the reader's job, not that of the PLer. Wouldn't want to give anybody the wrong ideas...

Thank you David, although: I was ready to let that one go, last section and all.

We still need an introduction, however...

Hi Availle,
I have finished creating the cd jacket for this project, which includes an introduction and index. But how should I submit it, as the upload facility does not allow for uploading a pdf file?

Hi David,

Please post your introduction here, I'm not going to grab it off any pdf because I don't want to start again with the formatting... :P

Your CD cover needs more than just the .pdf, read this post in our "CD Cover Working Thread" for instructions:
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=28785

Since you are the BC of this project, you can pre-claim the cover before the project is finished. Just post a message in the thread above and say something that you'd want to preclaim and give the project name and number, which is 14212.
When the project is completed and catalogued, then you can upload the four files needed for the cover.

Let me know if you have questions about the cover. :D
Cheers, Ava.

Hi Availle,

Hmmm :hmm:, I have embedded my Introduction, which has about 1500 words, and the Index, into an integral part of the design...
After browsing through the materials that you have sent me, I think even if I were to eliminate the Introduction from the design, the length of the Index may still not easily be cramped into the back cover of the cd jacket. May I propose the following idea: I will try to redesign my work, so that it will consist of all the basic elements required, but with an added booklet that includes the Introduction and the Index. I will try to finish it before all the proof readings are done, so that I can submit the draft for review to see if that is acceptable; and if that is not acceptable, I can still have enough time to further amend it before categorization.
