Hi And Welcome Lillian
Thanks for spotting my omissions in Chap 33, I fixed them and fixed the time as 8:43,
well done to you,
regards
john
No problem. Your audio is great and your reading is engaging, so proof listening has been fun so far.
I would like to ask, do you want me to point out small disparities between the audio and text that don't effect the meaning? Or is standard pl ok?
I am available to PL chapters 23 and 24 with completion no later than 29th May 2020. Though new to Librivox I have read the guidelines for proof listening and feel confident that I will be able to fulfil the desired criteria. Patiently await your reply,
I have just completed proof listening Chapter 23. Though this is my first exercise in proof listening I have endeavoured, to the best of my ability, to pay close attention to the criteria required for standard proof listening. Intro and disclaimer statements are in accordance with stipulated text, and the main body of the narration by John was of sufficient volume, free of long silences or pauses and without repeats. I did not discern any excessive background noise. Correct closing words were used at the end and there was 5 seconds of silence at the end of the file.
