ggatchel, welcome to the project. You should now have MW access so you can update the status after you have PLed.

Here are some MW instructions for you. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Ready for PL:

Section 5 - 4:38 https://librivox.org/uploads/linny/rhythmoflife_05_meynell_128kb.mp3

Since it's just the 3 of us here right now, may I please claim Sections 1 & 6-10?

Thanks!

Hello! Thanks for the PL for 3&4. My mic isn't the best, so I need to fix these spots and also, I will be doing this solo now, so I have to edit the intros for them both anyway. Silverquill, does ggatchel need to know anything else or do anything different since it's now a solo work? First time doing a solo, so I thought I should ask.

Thank you!

Hi, I've sent you both PMs but let me also put the remarks here.

First, this is now a solo project, although for now it is still listed as a group project. The only change at this point will be using the shortened solo intro which you both have.

PL notes should be posted here in the forum, not in the MW.

Just my opinion, but I think the mike bumps, or whatever, are relatively minor, and normally I would let these pass on standard PL, but okay to mention anything that the soloist might want to take a look at.

I'll let you know if there are any changes.

Valentina,
Congratulations on your first solo. I have given you access to the MW. As a soloist you usually also act as your own book coordinator (BC). That just means that you update the MW with your file links, duration, and toggle them as ready for PL. Larry will still be around to help you so don't panic.

If you do want to learn about the MW these links will help you out. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kVj409nG_E0XJ5UrrcL7EVx7Qyx-2UQ7dbw4mINi3XQ

Hi Linny,

Thanks so much for your help and Larry's help too. I just tried to access the system for the first time as I have a recording to upload, but it still says I do not have permission to access after clicking "Login for BCs & MCs).

Hi Linny,

Thanks so much for your help and Larry's help too. I just tried to access the system for the first time as I have a recording to upload, but it still says I do not have permission to access after clicking "Login for BCs & MCs).
Please read the google doc carefully. The password for the MW is different than your regular LV password.

Enter your forum username
Click “Forgot Password” (Note: your old BC login for the Magic Window will not work here!!!)
You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. Click the link and enter a password and submit the form.
Go back to the main login screen and use the new password you entered above to login to the system.

Let me know if you still can't get in.
