It works now, thank you so much!knotyouraveragejo wrote: ↑April 18th, 2020, 1:31 pm Go up to the top post of this thread. Directly under the Magic Window is a link for BC Admin. If you are logged into the workflow it will take directly to this project's section compiler. If not logged in, you will get the login screen for the workflow system.
If you login directly to in the workflow system, the page that opens should be a list of your projects as either BC or DPL. To access the section compiler from there, click on the little magnifying glass icon in the column titled SC to get to the section compiler for the project.

Chapter 4
Stumble at 4:56 but it wasn’t really that noticeable, feel free to leave it, if you want to leave it as is please tell me and I can change it to PL OK.
At about 14:45 the volume increases sharply, but it should be OK

Chapter 6 PL
Constant, noticeable background noise that stops at ~7:49 , you may want to use noise reduction It starts again at about 16:54 and then just goes off and on, it sounds like the hum of an air purifier or air conditioner

Also, the first two that say “Assigned”, are they ready for PL’ing?
A little faster at the beginning
“Pop” at 0:20
Pop at 6:36
Stumble at 6:57
Stumble at 28:16
The rest is good!
I’m posting this here because I can’t access the section compiler... when I click the drop down menu on Projects it shows Projects and Section Compiler. I click on the Section Compiler button and nothing happens

knotyouraveragejo - May I ask a technical question about the next novel I'd like to record? It's "Evelyn; or a Heart Unmasked."
https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=hvd.32044024227407&view=1up&seq=203
Although it's not that long -- only 400 pages -- and it is printed as one book -- it's divided into two volumes. The page and chapter numbering starts over in Volume II. How do I deal with this? Do I record each volume separately? Do I include introductions that say something like "Volume II, Chapter 3 of Evelyn..."? What would the Magic Window entries look like for two Volumes packed into one recording? Could you point me towards a good example?

You can do it either way. Here is a current example of a MW for a book that is divided into Book I and Book II viewtopic.php?f=12&t=77959 As a single project, you would want to use the introduction as you have suggested.
The only odd part about the book you are looking at is the page numbering starting over at volume II. However, if you are reading as a solo, it really doesn't matter since audiobooks don't include page numbers and you can provide links for your PLer if you want read along PLing. On the other hand, if you would prefer to do it as two separate projects, Volume 1 and then Volume 2, that's okay too.

BTW when you upload a corrected file, you should change the status in the MW from 'See PL notes' to 'Ready for Spot PL'.
