Hey, do you listen to LibriVox, as well? You might find "Twenty Years at Hull House" by Jane Adams interesting. I was very interested at her interaction with Tolstoy.

Thanks for the recommendation Lynette. Yes, I do listen to Librivox (audiobooks from the library) and in fact, that's how I found out about volunteering! I would love to do it professionally.

I agree. I actually read the whole book put of general interest (I knew a bit in outline, but hadn't realised just how extreme so many people at the highest levels of government were).
