I am quite surprised that Ingersoll did not mention Paine's Rights of Man in this segment, a very important book that brought him fame far beyond that of a "pamphleteer", and which he wrote long before The Age of Reason.

I had uploaded Section 1 then realized I uploaded the wrong file. Right one coming soon.

From Thomas Jefferson to Thomas Paine upon receiving a complete copy of Rights of Man.
“...Go on then in doing with your pen what in other times was done with the sword; shew that reformation is more practicable by operating on the mind than on the body of man, and be assured that it has not a more sincere votary, nor you a more ardent well-wisher than, Dear Sir, Your friend & servt,
Th: Jefferson

No one seems to be clamoring for/ claiming sections of The Great Infidels. I love this lecture!

I’m more than happy to take section 13.

PL Notes Section 13 Spinosa

5:07 On Sunday, February 21, 1677, Spinosa .....passed away. You say Saturday. This doesn't make much difference, only being the infidel he was, I'm sure the preachers had a field day him dying on the sabbath!!!!
5:17 to 5:34, it got mighty quiet. Could Amplify +3 to match earlier text. (Again, don't need to do this, unless you decide to make the previous correction.)
Let me know what you intend to do.

Section 1 = PL OK

(...must have felt a bit like déjà vu. Ingersoll's lecture on Voltaire started in much the same way. Genius borrowing from itself,
I guess. Why rewrite that which is already damn near perfect?)
