So i imagine that a PD piece from anywhere other than PG is not accepted? I recorded something both for practice and in hopes of sharing due to the included text at the bottom of "This document is in the public domain." ever since it was released 17 years ago, however given the replys im guessing thats not good enough?

They don't have to be from PG. Stories from sources before 1924 are fine.
