May I please read "I", section 55 (including intro/outro), and Spectator, section 62?

Thanks, Todd

Friend, it may be confusing for some to claim sections and record intros and outros while some sections are still to be deleted. The numbering is temporarily out of the normal. Haha!

well, sorry kevin,

but deleting sections is possible for mc's only and the editors should be clear according to the launchpad dr/play guides...
and you offered to edit one play?
so, maybe i pmed a little too early, still in the launchpad and instructions unclear - i'm sorry but i'm sure, tomorrow will be a better day :-)

So, "The Collector and his Friends - Letter 1" is Section number what?

And, yes, I'm happy to serve as editor.

thx for the confirmation kevin!

to my opinion, section collector and friends lettre 1 is section 11 at the moment, and will be section 11-3=8 soon.
but honestly, at this state of the project and in the launchpad, you don't have to claim as one of the early birds...
i think the launchpad is organized in a way, that you can wait if you prefer to... and exprience a pleasant claiming experience :-)

gn!

hi amy,

i have two questions, because there are two mini-plays in this book with 3 roles plus editor
kevins will be one of the editors, i can do the other editor
there are no cast lists in the book. i will prepare one for the catalogue-page.

1.
so, what librivox-intro and -outro should the roles read? i couldn't find a sample, to be honest.
the normal intro and the editor cuts it all?
or something like: [role-name] read by [reader], this recording is in the public domain - and the editor cuts the legal disclaimer?

2.
since i made a section for each role and editor, the role-filename can be as usual, right?

thx for your answers!
(and after this, i hope we are ready for readers wanted)
cheers,
The sections are deleted.
1. One person can read the disclaimer and the others can each say [role-name] read by [reader].
2. The role-filename should work.
Over to Readers Wanted.

Hi! This is my first recording, so let me know if there are any issues with it. I'd like to claim Aphorisms (section 42).

hi homunculusontheloose,

perfect nickname :D

i will assign the section to you, but please, do a one minute test.
we have technical requirements we have to meet, and this test is to ensure, you know how to adjust the settings and know about our uploading-process.

a tutorial is here in our wiki: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test (with further links and help, also videos)

meanwhile, the section is reserved for you!

looking forward to reading from you again, after you got the ok :-)

greetings from tyrol,
cheers,
