How should I read that?

I would say "Dear blank" or something like that.

Sure. I will assign that chapter to you but before you record it, please do your 1 minute test so that your technical specs match what we use here. Why record it then have to redo it, eh? You welcome email had links on how to do this or you can just search our wiki. This is not an audition, just to check your recording setup.
Once you get the OK on that, please have fun recording The Surprise.

EDIT: how would you like to be credited in our catalog? What name? Many of us use our real names so that our friends can find us, but you can use your forum name or whatever you like.
