Hmm. This looks like an old project that didn't get on my radar, but saw it in your sig line. Could I read Chapter 99 (Sec 105) ? Very poignant scene.

Sure, thanks, Larry! Oops - wrong hat. But I know Elijah will be happy, too.silverquill wrote: ↑March 24th, 2020, 9:21 am Hmm. This looks like an old project that didn't get on my radar, but saw it in your sig line. Could I read Chapter 99 (Sec 105) ? Very poignant scene.

Okay, but you put me in for Chapter 94 (Section 99) instead of Chapter 99 (section 105) . . . . . .LCaulkins wrote: ↑March 24th, 2020, 10:27 amSure, thanks, Larry! Oops - wrong hat. Very nicely read, Larry.
(You may want to consider bumping your recording volume up a tad, as this is well on the soft side for speaker listeners. The soft volume is perfect for this chapter, though.)

Not sure what to say about the volume. My Checker reading is 88.8 dB which is pretty much on target.

Purely for input, my reference considerations about volume include these factors:
We have the range from 88 to 92 for acceptability.
Most editors of dramatic reading projects target 90, sometimes 89, for the match-point of parts being edited together.
Listeners using speakers instead of headphones often have difficulty hearing the readings that fall in the lower half of our acceptability range (from my own experience and others' through conversations to see if it's just me or a common thing).
There is certainly nothing wrong with the volume of section 105 - it's just in the lower half of our range. It was only a comment for thought for experienced readers.

Oh! Thank you, Kitty - not sure who gave me the 88.
