Hi and welcome to the Librivox! The link to the book is always in the first post of each project, as is a lot of other usefull information.intelligent wrote: ↑March 19th, 2020, 10:45 pm Where is the link to the script? And may I claim part 54, please?
Please, before you start and actual recording, do the 1-minute-test to check that the technical specifications of your recording are set to correspond to what we need. This saves a ton of time later.
Here you can read all about the test: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test
Once you are through with it, please post back here and I'll be happy to give you any available section to read.
Kristine

Edit: I'm a bit worried that some of my pauses may have been too long, if that's the case lmk and I'll edit it. I also chose to read some stylized parts with an American accent ("Ye woo me and Ye win me" read as "You woo me and you win me"), if that was incorrect I can fix it too. Sorry if I messed up, these are some of my first recordings so I'm still trying to figure out how to do it correctly.

Hello! I claimed #97 and #115 as placeholders for my daughters who are getting their accounts in order. I was looking for short poems, with clear storylines for each of them to start off with. They are almost ready for the handoff and are excited to hop into the booth! Here's their info:
SpiderGwen (cleared and ready to roll) would like to take #97 St. Michan's Churchyard by Rose Kavanagh
and
atinygoose (just turned in her 1-min test) would like to take #115 A Dream Garden by Ella Young (that I called "house of dream" in my original post )
Would you be able to switch them into my selections, please?
Also, I would like to take (for reals! for actual me - no changies) #119 I will Forget by Alice Furlong
Thank you!!

OOPS! I was logged in as my daughter when I posted this. So, eringrassie is the one to change out. Sorry for the confusion! Sheltering at home for 3 weeks. Loosing track of who's who around here...atinygoose wrote: ↑March 21st, 2020, 1:55 pm Hello! I claimed #97 and #115 as placeholders for my daughters who are getting their accounts in order.
