It's yours! and thank you for a perfect choice to round out the selections some more. :)

Hi, Kristen,

I hope all is well with you and yours!

I was just checking in on things - I think these two recordings will not be able to be used by LibriVox. Everything we submit has to be in the Public Domain. When I searched for the source, it looks like it's a book published in 1996. In the U.S., we have to stick to sources published no later than 1924. Project Gutenberg is an excellent place to find Public Domain sources - basically everything there is public domain. [url"=https://archive.org/"]Internet Archive[/url] also has a lot to offer.

I'll have to remove the reserved spots for these two stories, unless your source actually is Public Domain - in which case, we can easily re-assign sections for you here, or on Vol. 2 if this one wraps up super fast (unexpectedly).

Thanks so much - looking forward to hearing from you soon,

I have a feeling I did the intro wrong, but I wasn't clear on order.

This is an excellent recording. :) I had never heard this story, either, so that was fun.

Yeah, the intro on this project is a little simpler than it often is, without the section numbers, even. Just start right in with the title of the story and its author, then the LibriVox bit - so for this story, you'd have:

"My Lord Bag of Rice, from Japanese Fairy Tales, by Yei Theodora Ozaki. This is a Librivox recording. All Librivox recordings are in the public domain. For more information or to volunteer, please visit Librivox.org." (and then go right into the story.)

A little different than normal, we're putting our "Recorded by <name and URL>" at the end instead of the beginning (although a lot of projects let you put it at either or both ends). I think moving your name and page to the end of this section would actually work great for you, as it would be advantageous to have the last spoken item be your web page for people to think about looking up.

The into is the only part that needs tweaking, by the way. :)

Oh! Also - I forgot: Don't forget to include the length of time of the file when you post an upload link. :)

Hi, Colleen! Fantastic reading - all your work was well worthwhile. :) (I know very well how long it takes to edit recordings this long!)

Thank you so much - Theseus Slays the Minotaur is PL OK

Hi Brianna, nice intro edit.

I wanted to make sure: Did you want to put your "recorded by" name and web page at the end?

I just posted my test a few minutes ago, but I would really like to contribute to this collection.

I would like to do Stories from Le Morte D'Arthur and the Mabinogion retold by Beatrice Clay part XVIII The Adventures of Sir Gareth.

How could I say "No" to someone who shares my name?! :)

I see your test is already cleared, so all I need to get a section officially assigned to you is to know what you want us to use for your name on your public Catalog Reader Page. (This will be the name folks see when they are looking at audiobooks)

Also, which story from the book are you wanting to do for your section? (There will be following collections for myths that you can read additional stories for if you will want to do so.)
