Could I also claim section 14 if it's still unclaimed?

Blightyear55 wrote: March 19th, 2020, 8:49 am Hello! It appears as though nobody has claimed section 11. If it is still unclaimed, I would like to try my hand at it.

Thank you!
You are correct, it is all yours to enjoy. :D
EDIT: Wow, your forum name is totally unique. Never seen one like that before. It 's none of my business but would you share it's origin? Fine if you don't want to of course.

EDIT2: Section 14 is also still open. I had it marked as claimed but that was a clerical error. tsk, tsk.
My real name is Harmon Busby and I used the nickname Buz almost all of my adult life. (My nickname growing up was Sonny and I thought, mistakenly, that it was too childish when I went off to college in 1973.) I took the easy way out and chose Buz as a nickname for college. As an adult, when people introduced me as Buz to others, they would say "Like Buz Lightyear?", and I would always say yes. I decided to compress the name down to Blightyear and added my year of birth for my gamer tag because Blightyear was already taken.

While I was killing time  I recorded section 11. Here is the link: https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/whentheyweregirls_11_moore_128kb.mp3. The length is 7:26. Please let me know what you think. All feedback is appreciated!

Please let me have 14 too.

Thank you!

Thanks Buzz for the wonderful explanation and the file. I'll put it into the magic window for proof listening. Section 14 has been claimed already. :D

Thank you Nettie. I probably did miss it, thanks for mentioning it. Please don't hesitate to say something if I seem to have overlooked anything. It helps me a lot.
