Advice please !
I am just about to send section 55 to you. It is the first part of Part one and I am not sure quite how to designate this at the end ? It is not the "end of part one "

Will wait to send until I hear what I should do

Cheers

Jennifer

PS I am away from my computer for about a week so will not be sending more until after the 14th March. Hope this is alright ??

How about something along the lines of “end of the beginning of part 1”? Something of that sort may go well with the next section “continued”.

I hope you time away is for a joyous reason. Be safe out there. :D

Jennifer,
Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed your holiday.

The volume drops off at 16:53 and continues through the end. Will you increase the volume for this area?

Also, the opening silence should be less than 1 second.

As for the reading...perfect as always. :D

Here is revised section 56.

I am sorry about the volume change half way through. I did not record it all in one hit which I know is not ideal. Had a deal of trouble with getting it corrected as I do not entirely understand amplification is spite of watching many tutorials on it ! A mystery still !!

duration 34.26

Hope all is well now

56 is spot check PL OK.

Here is how I explain amplification:

Highlight your audio. Go to Effect>Amplify>1 ok. Now see how the majority of your waves are about the height of 0.5 to -0.5 (look to the left of the wave on the Audacity program you should see numbers ranging from 1.0 to -1.0) This is the height you are aiming for. If they don't look high enough then select Ctrl R. This is the repeat shortcut and Audacity will amplify by 1 more dB. Keep Ctrl R until it looks right. It likely will be right.
