Thank you, Micfairy252! The recording is PL OK and in the Magic Window! I personally find that the pauses give a more natural flow to the reading, so I'd say this was worth re-recording!Micfairy252 wrote: ↑February 25th, 2020, 8:41 pm Hello Rapunzelina,
I am sending you the poem that I just finished re-recording which is titled, "This Is My Letter To The World" written by Emily Dickinson(1830-1886).

Thank you, Dan! Welcome to Librivox and the Poetry collection! Here's your Reader Page https://librivox.org/reader/13882 which lists all projects you've read for, so it might look a bit empty now, but I hope you enjoy recording and you'll gradually fill it up!
For this project, there is a limit of 3 poems per month, so I'll use your first three for this month and I'll move the rest to the following months. All recordings are PL OK (proof-listened and ready for the catalogue) and very nicely read!
You'll notice how you get a double .mp3 ending in the file-name; one usually gets that when exporting from Audacity. Audacity appends the file suffix automatically, so you don't need to use the .mp3 ending when naming the file. No need to do anything for these uploads, I can take care of the names, but just to keep in mind for future recordings.

Thank you, Larry! A couple of PL notes:
the title is repeated at the very beginning
Around 1:50 repetition of previous 2 lines

Oh, my. I suddenlty lost the "cut" function on my mouse wheel, so had to use the scissors in Audacity and so I probably thought I'd cut these and it didn't take. But, where is the corrected file:Rapunzelina wrote: ↑February 28th, 2020, 2:27 pm Thank you, Larry! A couple of PL notes:

Cool! Thank you for the research! I tried to cross-check the info before, but didn't get anywhere so I left it blank, but I can now add the dates. Thank you!
