I put you in for Jack and Jill now. I knew I was forgetting something. It happens so infrequently.
Thanks!

I think I just uploaded Section 1.

I am very new at this. I don't know how to tell if I did it successfully.

And Section 2 will be uploaded in 2-4 days.

Hi,

I found it. After you upload a file, you need to copy the link and paste it in your post like I did here. Also, note its duration.

Thanks,

Great job on your reading!

At the end you have repeat of the LV disclaimer which needs to be removed.

Your volume varies throughout the recording. For future recordings and depending on what type of mic you have it's beneficial to change your distance from the mic slightly when your volume changes (excitement vs. whispers). This will give the same 'tone' without changing the volume. I find that by shifting my weight ever so slightly I can achieve more consistency.

Hi

Thanks for the tips.

It was tricky when the text read "he continued in a whisper" or low voice....and I am already struggling to get my Blue Yeti to go up to 86db!

I will work on that and try your suggestions.

Here is the upload with second disclaimer removed.

Cheers

Section 1 is spot check PL OK.

It's really important to post the link to your file and provide the file duration. It's a challenge when either are missing.

I don't use the Yeti but you might want to post in the help area and see if you can get some advice on increasing your input volume. It sounds strange that you are struggling to get to 86dB. Help forum: viewforum.php?f=23

Amy, file duration is 39:26. Link is the same as the first file name you found. MW updated.

Certainly, it is fine, Linny. I usually only check everything in the morning and then again at night so I don't want to hold you up if you are ready to prooflisten a recording.

p.s.
I PMed KTB to check in with him.

Any word from KTB? The section read is easily edited to be PL OK.
