The Story of Sitka by Clarence Leroy Andrews (1862 - 1948).

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/the-story-of-sitka-by-clarence-leroy-andrews/
The Author recounts life in the Great Northwest in Sitka, Alaska, "Sitka of the Russians" a century ago with insights into Sitka's settlement, natives, progress, attractions, churches, social life, trade etc., when it was at the center of trade a century ago in the great northwest. ( Summary by Rita Boutros )

[*]Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/files/31862/31862-h/31862-h.htm
[*]Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Just go in and delete out the spots where it references a translator. :)

It put you in because you put yourself in when you made the template. On that project template generator, the only spot that references you is at the very bottom, talking about if you're new what you want your catalog name to be. ;)

(It happens to others, too - more often than one would think!)

I can MC this for you Rita, be back soon with your MW. :D

.. I found a link with more info on the author. - https://library.uoregon.edu/speccoll/photo/fcandrews

I see you've set this project up as a Solo. If you need help with the MW let me know. I've shortened the filename and cleaned up the MW a bit.

If you wrote the summary could you add your name "Summary by ..." Thanks.

All we need now is a DPL.

Greetings
I think (I hope) that I've updated the MW correctly, but I am still unclear whether or not I should continue to paste upcoming text links here first. I suppose I do need to do that in order for you to PL them. Please advise and also anything else I should or should not do.

Thank you! Rita

Good question Rita, it is best to post the link in the forum or at least a notice of a new section in the MW, it helps the DPL know when there is a new section to PL.
