Link to 2nd test is in the test forum. Made the change to mono. Let me know if that works and I'll get started on the project!

The checker says it still came up as stereo - our system will reject stereo recordings. I downloaded the file and it is indeed in stereo.

Can you try it again?

One you can record in mono you're all set.
I'll use your user name as your display name unless you let me know otherwise

I've downloaded Audacity to help me resolve the issue. Hopefully it worked this time.

Just to be clear, all the uploads must be in the same format as the 1-minute test?

This is the standard for every librivox project

Set your recording software to:
Channels: 1 (Mono)
Bit Rate: 128 kbps
Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz

then follow points 7-8 on the first page

Thanks for the quick work Johan

Nicely read. A few errors noted:

Puffy p’s - something to watch in the future

your volume is 84.4 Librivox standard is 89 - you can increase the volume using the MP3Gain tool
https://sourceforge.net/projects/mp3gain/

You began chapter 17 of an essay ....
you should have said:
"Section 18 of An Essay Concerning Humane Understanding, by John Locke Book IV Of Knowledge And Probability. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"

Chapter 17 Of Reason
DURING recording:
No more than 0.5 to 1 second of silence at the beginning of the recording!
Make sure you add this to the beginning of your recording:
START of recording (Intro)

"Section [number] of An Essay Concerning Humane Understanding, by John Locke Book IV Of Knowledge And Probability. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"
If you wish, say: "Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"
Say:
"[Title in MW] For example Chapter 1 Of Knowledge in General
18:20 and could scarce forbear to think the finding several of those proofs to be something more than human. – forgot to read proofs
