Nicely read, good clear voice.
Issues:
* You have omitted many of the various poetry quotes - those at the chapter beginning (~0.36 x 2, ~ 1.02 and Arnold ~ 13.34 . Quotes are something the author chose to include to make his points - they are to be read.
* Your final silence is too short - a full 5 secs is required here.

Around ~ 4.00 and going forward there is some excessive mike noise or distortion. But the most significant issue is the many loud plosives (eg, 5.37, 8.03, 8.05, 8.14, 8.15, 8.54, 9.01 but many many others), which detract from the otherwise lovely reading.
Now, the 1 minute test is intended to pick up those early (among other issues) but they weren't in your original test, whereas they are almost everywhere here. What has changed? Can you return to the much better quality of your test recording? You may, for example, find experimenting with a different position of the mike and/or a P filter will avoid this in your future recordings? I had a bad problem with them myself, but altering mike position as well as a P filter has fixed it.

I will definitely re-record the entire file. The plosives issues appeared when I started recording in another room. I tried to fix the issue with Audacity, but I suppose it didn’t work this time around. As for the omitted passages, I wasn’t sure whether to read them or not, and I made the wrong choice (silly me ).

Here we have the final two sections - one long, one short. Important historical account of the impact of sanitation and vector contro,, battles still being waged around the world. Clean water is the crying need in so many places, like Haiti where I did medical work for four years, and where malaria and dengue fever are still major diseases, as are dysentery and even tuberculosis. I also found it interesting the beribeir is mentioned as a tropical disease, although we now know it to be a vitamin deficiency of Thaiamine, B1. Some of the oldest health battles are still with us, and new scourges like HIV have hit us hard globally.

Lovely how the Descartes quote in the Preface is referred to again in the final sections on Preventive Medicine, to demonstrate the truth of his contention that "...we could be free of an infinitude of maladies both of body and mind, and even also possibly of the infirmities of age, if we had sufficient knowledge of their causes, and of all the remedies with which nature has provided us."

Thank you so much for redoing this -it sounds wonderful now, and not a plosive to be heard! Very nice and clear reading.

Just a couple of PL points:
Please insert the chapter details, ie, after the Librivox statement, say the title, then Section 7, Chapter 2, Greek Medicine.
The 2 footnotes you have read - 2 and 6 - should be deleted (the BC wants no footnotes, and it would make no sense to read these but omit the others). These start at ~6.23 and ~17.15 respectively. I know it's a bit confusing in the text as is, but footnotes are distinguished with brackets, thus: (2) and (6).
A tiny phrase repetition (has published one) at ~ 21m

Beautifully read, and very interesting, I agree.

Just two tiny things:
~ 10.50 the text is '...famous for its baths]' but I hear only its bath (ie, singular, rather than plural)
~ 18.07 the text says '...lacked the means of pursuing this path...' but I hear pursuing his path

You have omitted the Chapter details at the beginning of this one also. Please insert 'Chapter 2, Greek Medicine' before Asklepios
~ 4.15 the text says conducive to health, but I heard conductive
~6.33 the text says orderly repose but I hear response
Both the quotes read need to be attributed with the name of the writer, ie, insert Caton at ~ 7.05 and Aristophanes at ~7.52 ( I agree with your decision to read these although they are footnotes by the way, as the text otherwise would not make sense)
The attribution (Phillimore's "Apollonius of Tyana") is also missing from the quote ending around 12.19. Not necessary to read all the details of where a quote came from, but the principle is that we should give the author's name.

I did not like the sound of the dropsy treatment Asklepios practiced!
