yay super, thank you. Now it's PL ok and it was perfectly patched. No difference in sound

Now I only need Tomas' part and then the essay is finished too. :9:

Finally realized I was not subscribed here so I was not getting notifications. I am working offsite for a while so my workbench is not up regularly either. Oops. Anyways I will try to catch up soon. Sorry!

PL NOTES:

SECTION 23

From the beginning of the recording to about 41sec in, the volume is very very low, then goes to normal. I downloaded the link a second time to verify this. I am not sure what is going on here. Craig, do you see the same thing?

Again in section 32 from the beginning until about 25sec in.

Very interesting.

That's certainly weird. I will listen to those again and see what I can do. I am on a completely new setup. I will get these back soon.

Here we go. I know exactly what happened now that I looked at the audacity file. In the older version, when I would stop to edit (I edit as I record), and then start again using Shift while clicking record. In this newer version of audacity, you don't hold shift, just click record. So, I was using shift and it was creating new tracks. I couldn't remember how to put them all together so I cut and pasted the tracks together, and this created a 'break'. When I double clicked to select all (on the track line) it was only choosing the section of the track that I was seeing in the window, and left the earlier ones out. Anyways, all fixed, and it won't happen anymore as I don't use the shift key to start recording anymore! Fun stuff.

Here are the 2 corrected files
