Hi, Zoe!

I enjoyed your reading of the meeting and development between Gerard and Margaret. Very sweet, that.

Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 just need easy tweaks:

PL Notes for Ch. 1 - This is still flagged by Checker for volume, but just a tiny bit. If you open the audio file, do control-A (to select all of the track), and do a .5 negative amp effect, it will resolve this.
Also, there is too much silence at the end, by about 2 seconds. We need to keep the end silence at 5 seconds for some reason. (Too short, though, and your words get cut off when a listener is playing the chapter)

PL Notes for Ch. 2 - This file has the same extra silence at the end. It also has a double intro, so that everything up to :23 seconds is repeated. :)

When you do the edits, don't forget to re-export the files and to note the new lengths they will have. I hope to get to 3 and 4 today, but the last few days I've received a ton more PL chapters than usual.

Hi, John,

Just a little edit needed to fix the closing, which currently says "End of Section 75" - but it's Section 80

Ch. 3 PL notes:

Loved your reading. :) This file has the same slightly-too-high decibel reading at Checker that ch. 1 had. A .5 negative amplification of the entire track should fix the volume nicely. (also, while you're editing the volume, clip those extra 2 seconds of silence off the end so it only has 5 seconds)

Hey, do you have the free Checker program yet? It'll let you check your mp3 files before you upload them, so you know right away if they're going to need a volume adjustment. In case you haven't run across it yet, here's the Wiki page for Checker.

Ah! Thank you. I didn't know about Checker. Working on fixing things now. Still getting used to the back and forth, but loving the reading. In your feedback on Chapters 1 and 2 you said "&#46" What does that mean?
