Hello all! I am a brand new volunteer reader. I discovered this site while searching for an audiobook of Call of the Wild. I am a widower in my mid-60s who has been told throughout my career that I have a good voice for radio. Since I am not interested in getting another real job ( :D ) in retirement, I found this to be an intriguing way to share my gift (if it indeed is a gift). I have loved reading from my preteen years and especially enjoyed science fiction. I'm scouring this site for tips and tricks and look forward to trying my hand at reading soon. I'll try not to abuse your help!

A big welcome another retiree even further South! It sounds like you will enjoy being here as well as contributing your voice to the world. I've made a little video to welcome people; you may find it informative and helpful or then again it may just be confusing. In any case ask lots of questions, we are a helpful bunch here. https://youtu.be/mwtn_2d3_qs My videos are all over so you probably have seen some of them. They don't get any more professional.

Oh, and Isabella, the happy Librivox penguin welcomes you too Image
