thank you, Ruth, the disclaimer is correct now. However for some reason the volume is much louder now, it exceeds our accepted limit of 92 dB. I can't imagine this one added word would change the volume so much. You did not re-record it all again, did you ? :?

Could you please decrease the overall volume by -2 dB and reupload one final time ? Thanks

Sorry about this, not sure what’s happened here, I didn’t record it all again, just did the corrections.
Will get it sorted when I can.

Section 95 - The wearing o'the green (time 3:05)

https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/worldstory_volume10_095_tappan_128kb.mp3

The tune used here is my own improvised variation on the traditional Irish tune "Londonderry Air" first published in 1855 in a collection of Ancient Irish Music (Wiki). That ought to make it old enough to be PD. It is best known for its use in the popular song Danny Boy.

excellent narrations, all of them. Thank you so much Nemo. I was hoping Ross had a bigger role, but the short passage was also wonderfully characterized.

All sections PL ok apart from 74, there is a small note for the end disclaimer:

> at 2:34: "end of Section 74" – you say "end of poem"

thanks

ok yes this tune should be PD, no problem. Anyway, you made your own interpretation of it so this is definitely PD then. I can still hear the original tune out of it, but it is not exactly the same. It's a nice variation and very original. I also think the lines are too long to really fit the original tune as I know it.

A wonderful performance, thank you so much, Alan ! And PL ok of course.

Section 1 is perfectly PL OK. Not an easy decision, murdering a monarch--Hamlet's dilemma too! Jim

thank you, Jim :) yes I thought the trick they implied she tried to pull with signing the papers unawares was a bit low. But we don't know whether that really was her intention.

Oops! ... sorry about that. I am so used to reading the poetry disclaimer at the end of a poem, I forgot about the "section #"!
