Let me know of any corrections needed.
Hi Joe,
Section 5 is PL OK. That one had some chilling imagery!
Thank you!
Amy
Yes it did Amy, and at the same time it had me laughing out loud on a couple of occasions.

Great reading!

Just a couple of edits for you.
-19:31 slight stumble - yet F—— was a swindling rogue,

-25:36 stumble - I had staggered back with that cry in my throat, when I felt fingers like iron clamps close on my arm and hold it. The grip, more than the face I turned to look upon in my surging terror, was forcibly human.

I've got my recording of section 8 ready to go: https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/wintersfire_08_capes_128kb.mp3
Legnth is 33:02.

This is my first prose recording, so any feedback on technique/general style (in addition to pointing out errors) is much appreciated! Please also pardon my wandering attempt at a French accent

Thanks,
Matt

Hello Matt,
You did a great job. I enjoyed the 'wandering attempt at a French accent'. It brought a lot to the reading.

One little blip you may be able to edit out.

Thanks for the feedback Linny. Got the updated file here: https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/wintersfire_08_capes_128kb.mp3

I edited out the stumble, and I think it's passable, but let me know if it would be better to just re-record that sentence (hard to get the same exact reading speed/tone so wanted to work with what's there first).

Also, Amy, please list me as Matt Tantillo in the final posting of the finished project.

Thanks!
