I have a short recording made for other purposes that might work for my "1 Minute Test" exercise. It's a passage from my third sci-fi novel, but it should give listeners/evaluators enough to judge my tech settings (I'm using a Yeti mic recording into Logic Pro X) and fitness to voice books. Will that suffice?

Yes, that's fine.

I suppose we wouldn't like copyrighted material, but the test gets deleted after a few months anyway. And since you say this is your own novel, it's less of an issue in that respect as well. :)

P.S. We don't judge "fitness to voice books." If someone thinks they're fit, we take 'em. ;)

Thank you for the perspective. I'll follow the instructions, upload the MP3 and hope for the best! Much appreciated.
