Hello Beth,

As you have no doubt surmised - I am having a total 'mare with my pc at the mo'!

(Worry ye not - I am uploading this directly from my laptop!)

Not entirely sure what is going on with the old dear - I have run several scans - and they all come up clean.

However, I don't want to risk infecting anyone else's computer, just in case
I do have a virus!

This is incredibly frustrating, as the edit is well nigh finished!

Ah well... You've got to laugh!

Here is the missing line from Watson - it comes after Holmes says 'Are you feeling hungry, Watson?'

As it is only a little thing, I've done a couple of versions, so the potential editor can pick and choose'!

I am really sorry about this - I had hoped to be at least peripherally involved still - but if Zamie is willing to take on the editing -
that may be the best option.

Andrew

PS: Just listened to the lines preparatory to posting - massive echo effect from nowhere!

Leave it with me, I shall try to work out what the Fett is going on.

(And then I will be out of your face forever - 'cos I really cannot cope with this bollocks!
I have absolutely nothing in this world but time - so I believe I should invest it wisely...

At last, got it together!

I don't have Checker installed on the laptop, so this may need some
tweaking volume-wise - I can't tell myself!

Well, we have the “not particularly” line now, many thanks! I’ll put this in the MW, and we will see how we go.

Good luck with your computer!

You need to look for a project with OPEN in the subject line, as this one is FULL - meaning fully cast.

If you could help out that would be great! I think if you do your recording first, then maybe start with Story 7 - I think that’s the only one fully recorded so far, the others are only missing Dr Watson. Story 12 can probably be edited into Violet Hunter’s file if you wanted to start working on that one.

Sherlock Holmes Ch 8 appears to be unedited - there are lots of stumbles and repeats from about 7mins onwards. Can you please edit and resubmit?

I'm sorry about that, Beth; I've no idea how that happened. I'm editing it now, and should be able to upload in an hour or so (by 0800 GMT).

Holmes Speckled Band, story 8, re-edited and uploaded.

(26.06) - with added laughter at 8.07, 8.30, 20.44 ... use it as you will or no.

Holmes Ch 8 PL OK! Thanks Peter, you’re all recorded so done, unless you want to take up a story or two for editing?

We are just waiting on the last 4 chapters of Watson and one Mr Holder.
