I left the Dickens, but it's really a tough decision. On top of each page of the magazine it says "conducted by Charles Dickens", so the article may have been well what we call a "work for hire" today, where the copyright goes over to the one who does the hiring.

Me not a copyright expert...

I'm pretty sure that is what I entered. Will check, but might be a character limit. Thanks for pointing it out.

ETA - There is a character limit on the catalog pages for the dates. Best we can do at present is c. 146/160. The blurb has it as c. after 146/160. That a confusing date of death no matter what!
