okay so after getting everybody two cent here's what I'm trying to put together. I was talk with my local library district http://library.ppld.org/ and they like the idea of having a librivox group. The records would not be anything near pro. But far better that a $20 buck mic. And hopefully recorded in a room with amazing echoes (for all you rough corners people). anyway I just thought I'd let you guys all know.

Ps. tell me if you think its satanic or not to have a blurb for the library at the end just like "This recording was made possible with assistance from the pikes peak library district"

I'd be fairly confident it's not actually satanic as such :)
My $0.02 - we should acknowledge assistance given (like we give nyip.net a link at the bottom of librivox.org, because they provide hosting. Which reminds me - Hugh, should we add one of those links to the forum as well?)

hi xen, I think we can put a note on the catalog page, but I would be hesitant to put it in the recording, because I think it might set a precedent (this librivox recording brought to you by Dupont). we need to be careful about this, and think about it a bit.

How about "recorded at the Pikes Peak Library" at the end, since we have the option of stating a recording date and location already?

I am sure this has probably come up before and I'm making a right pest of myself within hours of joining:-)

But!
Having noticed that there seems to be a fair few people based in the UK thought that it might be fun to perhaps to get together and do a group recording of a short play or something, albeit perhaps gathered around a computer.

Just something to think about for the future!

The Ulysses recording got me thinking - in true irish style - a pubcrawl reading!
