Hi All,

My older son has been asking to take part in a recording - I was wondering if he could read the role of "Child" in Act 3? Are the lines for All/Villagers only in this Act as well?

Regards,
Steve

Yes, looks like all the "extras" in the play were saved for appearances in the last act.

Your son should have an account of his own if he is going to contribute.

Thanks, Todd

Hi Todd,

I created this account for my son's contributions. Can we reserve the role of Child?

Many thanks,
Steve & Roland

and our first section is in. and as I thought, you are great in the role, Alan  I love the accent you're doing and the certain drawl in the tone is perfect.

Excellent start and PL ok. Only think you need to be careful about, there is a very high whining tone in the background which quite hurt my ears. I ran noise-cleaning once over it before I could finish listening to it. :? I will notify Todd to clean it a bit before editing it in. Maybe you could use the noise-cleaning on your next file, or maybe you'll find the source of this tone and manage to stop it before recording. I don't know what it could be, maybe a loose cable ?

Thanks Sonia. Nice to get the first PL ok on a project. The Google documents you supplied worked fine. I may try to finish it this week as I am back home and have time.

Regarding the noise I did not noise clean as I could not see any obvious noise in the gaps on the Audacity graph. Also I could not hear any noise, but then my hearing is rather imperfect these days particularly in the high frequencies (common effect of aging). I was recently recommended to get a hearing aid. I do not use headphones just the built in speaker on my laptop. I will make a point of noise cleaning in future.
