And I've only re-recorded "to bequeath his crown".
and that's the third PL ok for today in this project :9: Very nicely corrected, Sarah, thank you. Now I can hear the word very clearly.

wow now this was a lavish banquet. The kings back then certainly knew how to squander away the poor man's taxes. :?

I haven't heard back from the reader in over two months, so sections 28, 29 and 30 are again up for grabs. :)

Hi, I was unable to complete this due to technical difficulties that I simply do not have the spoons to work through at this time. Hopefully soon I'll get back into recording but for now I'll go ahead and relinquish my section so that the project can get completed.

Amy6411 wrote: November 6th, 2019, 1:47 pmGreetings. Would like to claim section 16, the baptism of Edwin. 'Twill be my first recording, but please clarify what sort of name or pseudonym is required. Does it have to be unique (in which case, my username is fine?), or do most people use their own name? In which case, just Amy or Amy R is find.
Hi Amy and welcome to this project. :) Always happy to have new readers start out in here, as there are lots of very short sections.

Since you are new to the project, please read the first two posts very carefully, you will find valuable info on how to name the file, how to read the intro disclaimer (the short one in this case) and how to read the title for pictures.

I see someone already opened your reader page, here it is: https://librivox.org/reader/13628 and they put in your forum name as reader name as well. You can choose which reader name you want. Usually it's the name you also will say in your intro disclaimer. So if you are going to record "read for Librivox.org by Amy R" then I recommend you change the reader name. If you will record "read by Amy6411" then it's good as it is now.

I'll sign you up for section 16. Have fun ! And thanks for claiming.

thank you for letting us know in time, Amy. I am sorry for the technical difficulties you encounter, but please don't give up. Once you have taken this first hurdle it will be easier with each recording. And ask lots of questions in the help forum. We have tech-savvy volunteers here and your problem is surely one someone somewhere has encountered before and may give you valuable advice.

For now section 16 is back up for grabs as well then. But I hope I'll hear you one of the next World Story projects :9:

and also thanks for this section, Alan. Also PL ok. Just careful with your ending silence, which is starting to become a bit long in this one ;) no need to trim it and reupload though, it's not that much difference.

yay, another 3 sections in the box :9:
