Ok, I just edited the two posts above for elcaine and agcaine, with re-posts to fix slight errors in the originals. Sorry about that. Hopefully this was a useful way to do it, so that you encounter the "final" as immediately as possible, rather than finding it in a later post.

Oh, my goodness!! This is so great!! Thank you!

I don’t have time to listen to them all at the moment, but most important is that they sing “o-of tha-at same...”, “to the No-o-orthwest...”, and “in His Pre-e-esence...” with the correct number of syllables — that’s pretty much the only possible “fix” that would be helpful if it’s not already sung that way. :)

I've posted my recording, feel free to add compression and adjust the volume as you see fit. It is peaking at about -0.1 dB.

Thanks twinkle88 -- I think those syllables are about right. Playing all three in synchrony with your source actually sounds pretty good (my daughters' voices are similar, in character, to yours).

When my oldest (macaine) recorded, she was louder, and there was a bit of clipping. I had to amp it down to make the target dB level, but there's still a hint of distortion from the clipping. If you think it's ruinous, feel free to not include it. She's under the weather today, so I won't ask her to re-record.

I'll go master mine now and post shortly....

Oh, okay. I listened to it -- it will work just fine the way it is. :) Hope she feels better soon! (God bless her for singing when she didn't feel good!)

Howdy Twinkle

Didn't realize that you changed the key until now - I'm a bit late, I know. The other version would of made me sound like a strangled goose.
(If you have already closed the submissions, please ignore this message :D )

This deadline has been reached, but if anyone still wants to, I would be happy to add a few more recordings to the group. I just need to get the final version sent over to the Christmas Carol Collection by the end of the day tomorrow: December 20th, 7:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Thank you to all the wonderful singers who made up this magnificent choir! The choral treat is a highlight of this year's collection!

And thank you, Twinkle, for once again assembling your far-flung choristers into such an impressively cohesive group! (And for your late-night editing marathon to get this in last night!)
