Oh terrific. Thanks. I'll be able to see how my guesses compared with the original too, before I stopped . I don't think I would have guessed 'Mr Somebody' at all!TriciaG wrote: ↑December 15th, 2019, 6:52 am I see what you mean.
There's another scan of it here, which doesn't cut off the inner margin: https://archive.org/details/in.ernet.dli.2015.170732/page/n33

My guesses weren't always accurate, so good to have the real text.Jmbau13 wrote: ↑December 15th, 2019, 7:18 pmOh terrific. Thanks. Here are 7 and 8
I believe they are ready for proof reading but because of the text problem, I've gone back and forth quite a lot, decided to re-record both and am a bit cross-eyed at this point.
If (should not occur, but just in case ) you find a number of errors it means I got too cross eyed, stop and bounce it back at me for a total re-edit.

Thanks! I will listen this afternoon/evening.
I'll put that text link in the first post as an alternate source. If I recall correctly, I didn't use it because the PDF page numbers and the book page numbers didn't coincide, which makes things a little more confusing for a reader.
EDIT: Oh - I already have it as an alternate text in the first post! I was on the ball when I set this up.

Hi there!
If still available, I'd like to record "Masking" (Ch 36) on pages 134-135.
Thanks!

It's available, and it's yours! (I assume the page numbers you reference are the actual page numbers. The numbers I give in the Magic Window are the page numbers of the PDF, which counts the title page, etc. as pages.)
How would you like to be credited in the catalog? There are places for a catalog name (some use a nickname or forum name, some their real name) and a link to a personal web site or blog, if you have one. I recommend using whatever name you say (if any) when you say, "recorded by [your name]" as that's how listeners will look for you. (Keep in mind that prospective employers, classmates, enemies, etc. can also find you using the catalog name, so be cautious if privacy might be an issue.)

Thanks!
In the catalog, I'll just use my name, "Chris Bloom" (which is what I will say in the recorded by part of the narration).
Thank you!

Done!
If you click on your name in the Magic Window (opening that link in a new tab) then click on Reader Section Details, you'll see a list of what projects and sections you're assigned, and where those sections are in the process.

It's good! The only minor issue is that there's only about 3 seconds of silence at the end; there should be 5.
