Do you need a DPL for your finished sections? I can do those for you, if you do. :)
Thank you :)

Hi! Nice editing. Just one fix needed for Chapter 6:

at 16:07, Narrator's line, "Sylvia shook her head" is misplaced ahead of Courage's line"Yes, they go beautifully together; that's why you're named Sylvia, of course."
(located at top of pg 16 on the Ch. 6 text)

Thanks for the good PL!

Hey, Silverquill - this one is still the old file, I think. It doesn't have the 16:07 fix

ej400 wrote: July 29th, 2019, 11:41 am Chapter 1 PL notes:

I thought I'd note where the missing narrator lines are, as there are no other PL notes:

@ 6:49 Missing narrator lines "—proud to have remembered the proper word and evidently comprehending that the rite was a binding one."

@ 7:39 Missing narrator lines "and although she did not in the least understand it, Baby felt somehow that that was a beautiful reason, and as her father lifted her up in his arms, gave him a tight little hug and was perfectly satisfied." Gutenberg forgot the quotation marks for the father to stop speaking, and the narrator to continue.

Otherwise, this chapter was really nicely done!
I took a look at this. I see why the lines were missed...unfortunately, they don't appear in the color coded chapter.

Since Aaron isn't around and the lines come right where 'father' is talking, maybe being read by father would be the best option.
2) 09- L'envoi – missing lines
3:48 – missing line - David: “The rheumatics,”
3:50 missing line - David: “got hold of him so drefful bad that there was no help for it but that he must just go and be beholden to his daughter,”

David = cowguy02
I've PM'ed David about the lines three weeks back; he said he will get back with them.

Bhavya - please assign readers to the chapters that they appear in and remove the editors. This is in preparation for cataloging. :)
Tricia,

Will start doing it from today :) .

It isn't ideal, but can we get someone else to read cowguy's missing lines in section 9? He never responded to my PM. I think it's time to give up on him.

Second option would be to reassign the lines. I think they're edited into other chapters, but if we can get one reader for them all, it might be worth the re-edit to get this project done.

Elijah/ej400 did respond to my PM. I haven't given up hope on him yet.

Looking at the script, if your'e willing to re-edit, I'll take over the lines for Gentleman/ David/ Mr. Everett if you are OK with it being a female voice.

If ej400 could possibly read the missing lines for both chapters it would work as narrator. Even if you read for Luke we still have the first section missing lines.

Great, Elijah!

If you could record this:

"—proud to have remembered the proper word and evidently comprehending that the rite was a binding one." --and--
"and although she did not in the least understand it, Baby felt somehow that that was a beautiful reason, and as her father lifted her up in his arms, gave him a tight little hug and was perfectly satisfied."

And if you're willing, we can try to put you in for the missing lines from David (treating them as narrator lines rather than the character):

“The rheumatics,” --and--
“got hold of him so drefful bad that there was no help for it but that he must just go and be beholden to his daughter,”
