115 - Something very odd happens to your volume and voice around ~1.32 which varies wildly in volume, and has an odd reverb effect for the next few seconds ~ 1.38 Are you able to fix or improve this, because it's very jarring? Also, could you make the silence before Application at least 1 full sec & preferably 1.5.
116 - Repeated phrase ~ 1.56
117 and 118 - please make the silence before Application at least 1 full sec & preferably 1.5. They are two separate sections, but you are running them together without giving listeners just a little pause to consider the fable before listening to the next bit.
Thanks for Pling.
I think I may need to record 115 as messed around with noise reduction too much!
Here's the others corrected:

116 and 117 are PL OK now, thank you, but I see and hear no change in 118. There's less than .5 sec space still before 'Application' which is too little.
I'm sorry to hear you need to re-record.
I have a habit of saving my recording (unchanged) as a .wav first, and holding on to that. I make changes (eg, edits, amplify, etc) and then export that as .mp3. That way, if I screw up something too badly, I can go back to the .wav file if need be.

118 still has an issue: I see and hear no change. There's still less than .5 sec space still before 'Application' which is too little.
119 has the same issue - you barely paused at all before 'Application'. Can you please adjust it?
I'm sorry to hear you may need to re-record 115, what a nuisance for you.
I have made a habit of saving my recording (unchanged) as a .wav first, and holding on to that, because quite often I have to make adjustments to volume, pauses etc. I replaced all the silences once... and discovered the function also clipped the beginnings of all the adjoining words. Dammit.
I make my changes (eg, edits, amplify, etc) and then export that as .mp3. That way, if I screw up something too badly, I can go back to the .wav file if need be.

I've put this in the MW Ready for PL, but you forgot to include the file length in you post.
It's a nice reading and thank you for getting all the tech specs correct, including beginning and end silences.
But... it's what is called a noisy recording. Meaning you have a lot of background noise - you can see this as the central line which during pauses should be straight and fine, but is thick and wavy throughout. It detracts from an otherwise good recording. It may have arisen if you had to amplify to get correct volume? Because Amplify of course amplifies any noise also.
Please would you run it through Noise Reduction? https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Noise_Cleaning
Any remaining noise (eg, the audible one right at the end, ~1.52) can be removed in Audacity by highlighting and pressing Ctrl-L.

Thanks, I usually do that but am quite rusty with recording!116 and 117 are PL OK now, thank you, but I see and hear no change in 118. There's less than .5 sec space still before 'Application' which is too little.
