Hi Skip,

I just checked the relevant parts that I noted, and they are fine now, but did you cut out some other things or re-record? the running time went from 14:48 to 14:26. It shouldn't have shrunk that much for just a 5 second chunk that needed to be removed.

Please let me know what else might have changed.

I cut out the time at the beginning, adjusted the sound higher and heard extra noises so I did a noise cleaning and clipped out sound that didn't clean up.
My apologies, I should have mentioned that.

Checking in to let you know that I'm still here, and still working on Hill O' the Winds.

I got sick in early November and couldn't record (reading aloud more than a sentence at a time led to coughing fits), then got swept up in the holidays.

I will be spending some time this weekend working on it, and then I have some time off from work later this month, when I'm hoping to finish and submit it. Thanks!

Thanks. I put myself down for four stories in all. So far I've done two and have recorded a third, put with Christmas coming on I'm happy to pass this last one to someone else.

So how do we make this official? I'll try sending a separate message to the admin of this project.

Section 65 has been switched to skipskip from Barry!

I don't know if there will be more orphans - you never know - but there will be another story added to the project on January 1st, when it falls into the public domain. No pre-claiming on it - just first come first serve, whenever I get around to adding it on the 1st. (I don't plan on being up at midnight to do it though! )

Hi MrDavid,

You submitted a recording of this section a few weeks ago. Is this the same recording? There was one correction needed with the original file - You need to say "End of Section 45" at the end, not just the story title. This file does not have that correction.
