Cheryl, this was submitted to the Christmas collection, but as it’s not warm and fuzzy, we inherited it :D

Hey everyone. My name is Natalija and I am new here.
I was wondering if there are any narrators to help with the short works collections? if so, could someone let me know as I would love to help.
Have a great day.

Hi and welcome.
I’m not sure what you are asking here. For this collection, readers research and record short stories of their choice. They should be less than about 60 minutes long, in the Public Domain and stand-alone short stories (i.e. not random chapters from novels). Readers submit them, along with the information requested in the first post. When we get to 20, I open a new collection, so there is no rush 8-) You are welcome to submit a story Project Gutenberg is a good place to start ... you can select a story from an anthology or periodical; just be sure it is fiction. This collection is aimed at adults.

The other collections work along similar lines, but are more limited in content.
Hope this helps.

I received a request to record the first chapter of a few PD novels to post somewhere on LibriVox, the reason being that certain novels start off brilliant and then disintegrate. Would this short story collection be a suitable place for each one? Or is a different collection more appropriate? Thanks

Thanks for asking. This collection is, sadly, not the right place for random chapters from longer works.
We have, in the past, have projects consisting entirely of first chapters, but there does not appear to be one ongoing.

Wow! Those collections look great! But it's been a few years since the last one. If you set one up, I'll be glad to contribute.

I wonder if the MW should say "Ready for PL' rather than "Assigned?"
