OK. Well, its a monumental piece of Christian literature, I think it would certainly be worthwhile it have in the collection; however, as you say this is a collection for works of fiction, I initially was of the impression that you could include various different pieces of literature in this collection (except poetry). Is it a big issue if this work is included as well?
Kind regards,
Chad
It is a short story collection... so you’re right about poetry (that has its own collection, I believe) but also plays and non-fiction are excluded. I suppose it depends on your view of religion whether it should be included in a fiction collection... but there is a risk (certainty) of offending a lot of listeners. I’m not sure if it’s something that would be considered in the non-fiction collection viewtopic.php?f=19&t=76512&hilit=068 or the Multilingual Short Works although I believe that is between collections at the moment.
Hi, thanks for getting back to me.
So, I have decided that it would be best to remove this recording from this collection on the grounds that it is exclusively fictional work that is supposed to be included, sorry for the mix up. However, if its not too much to ask, could you PL this recording and then I will add it to the next non-fiction collection when it is released as I have reached the limit for the current collection?
I really appreciate your consideration.
Kind regards,
Chad
Cheryl, I will listen so please don’t concern yourself with extra work while you are on vacation 8-)

That file isn’t being included in this collection. It is Craig’s job to PL it.

Hi,
I wanted to record a short story that was translated in 1967 by Ivan Morris. The book is called "The Pillow" by Sei Shonagon wrote in 1872.
Link to story: http://faculty.sgc.edu/rkelley/the%20pillow.pdf

Thanks

I’m sorry but this is not in the PublicDomain in the US. The translation must be from 1923 or before. It is not enough that the original is older.
