Hi Michele, loved this...I'd forgotten how sad it is :( Volume etc all fine, and sound is consistent right through...don't know how you manage that in such a long story!
Just a couple of pickups...
Intro silence should be shorter;
21m beginning "and between the pillars...." I hear "Lifeless" statues, text is "lifelike"
And in the very last para..at 52.07 in first sentence beginning "After three hundred years.." there is an insert of "she said" which comes at end of sentence. Loved your witchy voice by the way!! Anne

Thanks, Anne. I had not realized when I began that it is so LOOOOOONG and rather gruesome, especially for a "children's story". But the images are vivid enough to have made it a classic, and the message I got is crystal clear: keep your tail and don't let them cut out your tongue, even for a handsome Prince, unless the ring is first on your finger! That witch drove far too hard a bargain for an innocent mermaid! Shame on her.

Changes made, except I didn't notice a long silence at the beginning. .5 to 1 second is the designated range.

Hoping I can call on you again in future. :D

Letter 15 from Love-letters of Margaret Fuller, 1845-1846

Margaret Fuller, 1810-50

Don't feel at all obliged to include this love letter in your collection. I stumbled upon it and liked it and thought of this project. It is a real love letter, however, and not fiction. I don't know if it is appropriate to your interests here.

The Romance of Marcia is PL OK. I love happy endings, especially in real life.

And the book looks like a good source for more love stories (in case anyone is looking).

Here is a truly "dreamy" love story, with a not unhappy ending.

My Platonic Sweetheart
by Mark Twain
published 1912

Could I get a volunteer to PL this one for me? OK, thanks, Colleen. :D

I am transferring My Platonic Sweetheart over the new Dreams Collection 1 project. I'll mark it PL OK over there.

It actually fits in both places, but I have a third one to put in over here.

We'll have to save it for the next collection because you already have 3 stories here, but go ahead and record it using the same Intro and Outro, only change it to Love Stories Volume 3, with a file name lovestories3. I will ask Phil to MC this for us, and hopefully he will!

Hi, Chad,

You have PL Notes pending since November 6th on this project. I sent you a PM last week but you haven't picked it up yet. Hope you are OK. Can I expect your corrections soon? Please let me hear from you.

My voice is shot, but I recorded this anyway. I thought it might add to the reading somehow. Then again...

I can always record it again.
