PL Notes Chapter 26

Hi, Mairi. Your voice is charming, precise, and your tempo easy to follow -- a great start for a Librivox newbie. Thus, I hope to persuade you to read the preface in your great accent (now assigned to me), which sounds sort of Scottish to my ear. Just what I've been looking for to open this project for our listeners.

There are a few items that need your attention.

Your volume, at 85.9, falls outside of LV's target range (86–92 dB), and is quieter at the beginning, Thus, I recommend you Amplify +4.5 from 0:00 to 10:00, and 3.5 thereafter to end.

Commencing 9:57 - through to end , you omitted saying "blank" where that appeared in the text in lieu of each person's last name. (Saying "blank" is the customary way of handling this as there is otherwise no signal that the proper noun is missing.) I recommend you insert the word "blank" in the appropriate spots. Alas, there are over 25 of them!

Otherwise, a flawless performance!

:( I am sorry but I will have to let my chapter go. I really thought I was going to get it in in time.
